I heard someone stole your Cardio Banner. Any leads on who did it?

Anonymous said...

Talking about thieves, did you guys get your hoppers back from the person that stole them out of the UCA storage room? I think I know who took them!

Anonymous said...

That is totally wrong if someone steals. If it was another tennis program, you ought to publish the names here!

Anonymous said...

I heard you had trouble with EZ Tennis. Do you think that they stole your banner?

Rowdy's Tennis aka Unlimited Tennis probably took the stuff out of UCA Storage. Not sure, but Mark Vaught's wife Penny mentioned something about it. Mark Vaught and Mark Rowden are pretty close so they might have been in together on the UCA storage pilfering.

That's so wrong! Yall are far better than any program and my family and many others are so thankful for the quality lessons and professionalism. Always remember when people do you wrong it's only because they're jealous! Keep up the great work!

Is the Zarina gal everyone was complaining about that got disqualified and banned from tennis by the USTA the same one that is affiliated with EZ Tennis?

Pete Tanguay ought to be ashamed of himself. He is in charge of the old CATA that helps fund EZ Tennis and Rowdy's Tennis. He is basically supporting people that steal other people's property.

Anonymous said...

What is worse than Tanguay's dealings is the coach at Hendrix College, Harold Henderson's behavior! Harold Henderson is on the ATA staff with Leslie Pfeiffer and he gets funding for USTA initiatives. SO Harold is basically approving Tanguay's behavior and the thievery around them.

Congratulations for one of your teams winning the state league tourney!!! You guys produce the most quality of all players!!!

Isn't Harold Henderson the dude that helped a D-I player cheat the NTRP League system by aiding player begin the system as a 3.5 and fought a grievance on the player being moved to only a 4.0 level?
Is teaching players to cheat to win ethical coaching?

The answer to the Zarina Gal question is true. She is the EZ Tennis instructor that was banned from playing USTA tennis for one year.

Guys,
I wish you would tell the funny story about the Zarina McCarthy episode and LULAC. That is the most outrageous story and needs to be told. I know your side must have hurt from the laughing behind the scenes.

I want to thank you for offering the conway junior tennis program to my children. They have taken lessons at other tennis camps but have never learned in a week of camp at another camp what they learned in just one day at your camp. Truly amazing to see my small child play full court tennis at such a young age. Keep up the good work!

To: CATA
Your organization puts out the finest program in our area. I was checking out the qualifications of the officers at the other CATA in your area and noticed a Leann Warriner loses almost every 2.5 match and Danielle Rowden who hangs around the CATA for $$$ handouts for her husband Mark Rowden's programs and neither she nor Mark can win at 3.0 skill level. Wow! Not much tennis intellect from that bunch!!!!

I feel the same about the old CATA which Harold Henderson runs indirectly thru Pete Tanguay. Coach Henderson is such a tennis guru that I read that his Hendrix tennis team has a .250 winning percentage. I thought coaches got fired when falling below .500 and that dude still has his job. He loses twice as much as a below .500 coach

It is funny story circulating about that Zarina girl about her resume padding claiming that she is #1 in a third world country in which she and two others were the only women to own a tennis racquet and shoes.

An even funnier story is about some guy named Rowden who is a 3.0 player with this incredible depth of knowledge about the game of tennis! Go figure why the old cata has his wife hanging close to their doorstep!!!

Anonymous said...

I thought a 3.0 player such as Rowden is just a step above a totally beginner player that is a 2.5 level player. Doesn't that tell you that Rowden is a beginner level player instructing beginners.

you guys ought to post the story of mark rowden teaching the serve to a bunch of students and how he continuously dumped his serve in the net as he demonstrated it. i think the story ended with rowden finally going to the utility closet and getting a milk crate out of it. he then stood on the crate and finally hit his serve over the net.

TOO FUNNY! About time people started just telling it like it is! Way to go Pinnacle Tennis Academy!

Yes, Z got banned for a year from USTA and put at a level that she hasn't ever played at because she knows she can't win and this was USTA's way of ensuring she couldn't participate. (This from the horses mouth info.)

Yes too that HH was in on getting his former player as well as other former players in at lower levels. You should correct the girl mentioned though as she played D1 tennis then "somehow" entered the local "TOADSUCK" tournament as a 3.0!!! Can ya even believe it??! There's another who's scared of losing! HA!

Thanks for the holiday laugh! Hope you guys had a great turkey day!

The story about the suspension of Zarina McCarthy from Usta for 1yr while living in Georgia is a hoot. Zarina was afraid to play better skilled players and self-rated real low. She then played against a weaker player that Zarina did not know was an official in league tennis. When the match ended, the losing official did a background check and found out what Zarina did. Kaboom! Suspension!

that zarina mcarthy is a manipulator to say the least. she paints erick mccarthy out to be a real tennis player and he has no college tennis resume and maybe no junior tennis record, strictly self taught or zarina has worked with him.

PinnacleTennisAcademy.com offers the best tennis program in Maumelle/Conway area with the Free introduction to tennis classes!!!

Anonymous said...

that is freaky if zarina galvan mccarthy of ez tennis would steal competitor's banners. she got suspended from usta tennis so i wouldn't put it past her.

Guys, Mark Vaught is no true republican/conservative!!! "Conservative" by definition in the Merriam-Webster dictionary means "preservative", having the power to preserve, keep safe, protect. Since Vaught took office, the has overdone their budget to the extent that they are in financial ruin. Vaught is not conservative since he failed to preserve and protect the city's finances. People should also vote the person as well as the party in elections. Mark Vaught is an example of a poor choice that people make when voting by party only!

The above link sends you to some posts by former Hendrix players of Harold Henderson. They seem to say that he is a nice guy but knows little about the game...Quote former players-"Henderson comes across as a nice guy but look closer and the truth comes through. No character and a blowhard. The big problem is he has no knowledge of tennis. He was a recreational doubles player who started playing as an adult. He will tell students things they want to hear but has no idea how to instruct them properly and has zero knowledge of the modern game. At 70yrs old I doubt he will learn.Hendrix is a school all attend for academics which is why I was there. I was also a decent junior tennis payer so played on the team. Play for fun but that's all. I'd not advice anyone to take lessons from him either. It's a joke." - 8/29/2013

"He enjoys the game but doesn't know anything about tennis. Play here if just for fun." - 4/5/2012
